Director/Founder

Mr. Sone Ngolendelle

 

Our dedicated director oversees the operations of the shelter, ensuring that our mission to combat homelessness is carried out effectively. With a background in social work and experience in shelter management, our director leads the team with compassion and expertise.

Job Coach/Volunteer Coordinator

 

Facilitating job assistance and empowering individuals to build a brighter future, our job coach works closely with those seeking employment opportunities. Their expertise in job training and community outreach enables them to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Our Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Volunteer activities within our shelter. Their duties include interviewing and hiring Volunteers, placing Volunteers in different roles based on their qualifications and maintaining accurate Volunteer records.

Assistant Director

Mrs. Sangbong Scholastica 

 

The assistant director, under the general direction of
the Director, plans, directs, manages, supervises, and
coordinates the activities and operations of the
Homeless Shelter. This includes homeless service and housing assistance
programs and contracted services; and coordinates
assigned activities with other  nonprofits and the general public.

Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist 1

Under the supervision of the controller provides assistance to Finance and Accounting office for our foundation and its’ subsidiaries. Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist, is responsible for collecting payments for our foundation, utilizing skills in project management, organization and communications. Other duties that fall under the umbrella of descriptions include tracking payments, making bank deposits and running reports that document profits and losses for organizations.

Treasurer/Accountant

 

Our Treasurer/Accountant oversees the general financial management of our shelter. They plan and keep track of budgets within our organization, collect, deposit, and keep track of funds, write cheques, and provide financial reports regularly to fellow committee members. Our Treasurer/Accountant is also responsible for reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow, and investing funds in accordance with our bylaws. They may also help with fund-raising efforts to better the committee’s financial state.
